This website has been created by West Sussex County Council Library Service,with the help of teachers, and is hosted by the West Sussex Grid for Learning.  It is the second product of the West Sussex History E-learning Project, funded jointly by the Heritage Lottery Fund (61%), WSGFL (23%) and WSCC Library Service (16%).

The first product of the West Sussex History E-learning Project is the Victorian West Sussex website launched in October 2006.  That website supports  teachers of QCA History Key Stage 2 and the following Schemes of Work:

• Unit 11 What was it like for children living in Victorian Britain ?
• Unit 12 How did life change in our locality in Victorian times ?

The new Moodle E-learning platform has been used to develop further sets of resources for educational use, in particular Child labour, Transport and Researching Local History in West Sussex.
